Improbably named Australian, George Washing "Machine", eccentric vocalist and dazzling violin master of traditional jazz and swing. in the style of Stuff Smith, is also a man of several other talents. He is an accomplished actor and comedian, having performed in several musicals and on television. He has toured through most of Europe, and starred for a season at the Sydney Opera House. His quartet performances are relaxed and down to earth, and he always has a very close rapport with his audience. delighting everyone with his humour and his amazing, fiercely swinging, style.
