Welcome to our new events season

In our Autumn Programme you will find many events to entertain and stimulate you - from brilliant music to an exciting visual arts programme plus our craft shop and many workshops.

Exhibitions

Over the next four month period we have eight exhibitions featuring more than thirty artists.  Special events will be prestigious SPOTLIGHT, where IAC will be one of the three galleries selected by Somerset Art Works as a sign-posting venue for Somerset Art Weeks.  Come along and catch a taste of the work of some of the artists with open studios.

Ever wanted to scribble on the tablecloth in a cafe and not feel guilty?  Take part in the National Big Draw Event in October when there will be the chance to do that and much, much more.

In December we will have an exhibition of artists and craft makers showing work that has been specially selected for that unique Christmas gift.  Come along and be stimulated.

Performances

It is hard to know where to start with the superb range of concerts that are lined up for you over the next four months.  CONCERTS in the WEST bring their 2010 series to a close with James Turnbull and Craig White in September followed by The Lawson Trio with a programme of piano trios celebrating the 200th anniversary of the death of Mendelssohn and Schumann.

Our jazz season includes international duo Chris Whitely and Diana Lee Braithwaite with Bob Hall in September, the superb Louise Parker in October and the formidable sax player Simon Spillett in November both with the great Craig Milverton Trio.  With the stunning world music form of Flamenco and Spanish guitar duo Esperanto in November, and two word-based evenings I am sure you will find many concerts and events to entertain you.

Craft Shop

We are currently re-fitting our craft shop so that we can provide an even better range from the work of the region's superb craft makers.  Come along to find that perfect gift or decorative piece.
